Protect Customers and Providers
Maintain business and compliance records
Warranty Information may be retained after a Provider changes, suspends, or discontinues a warranty if the information remains relevant to Services previously performed or warranties previously offered to Customers.
Warranty Claim Information, complaint records, supporting documents, communications, photographs, invoices, repair orders, Provider responses, and other records associated with a Provider Warranty matter may be retained after the underlying Booking or Service is completed.
Retention may continue for the duration of the applicable Provider Warranty and for an additional reasonable period where necessary for purposes including:
Customer support
Establishing the history of a claim
Resolving disputes
Investigating complaints
Preventing fraud or abuse
Evaluating Provider compliance
Enforcing Platform policies
Responding to legal or regulatory inquiries
Defending or pursuing legal claims
Protecting the integrity of the Marketplace
For example, where a Provider offers a warranty based on a specified period of time or vehicle mileage, FixFlowIQ may retain relevant records while that warranty could reasonably remain in effect and thereafter for a reasonable period based on legal, compliance, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution needs.
FixFlowIQ's retention of warranty-related records does not make FixFlowIQ the warrantor, insurer, administrator, or financially responsible party for the applicable Provider Warranty.
Messages exchanged through the Platform, Customer Support communications, warranty-related communications, complaint records, and related correspondence may be retained for a reasonable period to:
Provide customer support
Facilitate communications between Users
Investigate complaints
Resolve disputes
Support warranty-related matters
Evaluate Provider compliance
Improve our Services
Detect fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity
Enforce our Terms of Service
Comply with legal obligations
Reviews and ratings contribute to the transparency and integrity of the FixFlowIQ Marketplace.
If an Account is deleted, reviews may be anonymized rather than removed, provided that doing so is permitted by Applicable Laws and reasonably necessary to preserve the integrity of the Platform's review system.
Reviews that violate our policies may be removed, restricted, or moderated.
Records relating to review moderation or suspected review manipulation may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement purposes.
Security logs, authentication records, fraud prevention records, system monitoring information, abuse reports, and related information may be retained for an appropriate period to:
Protect the Platform
Investigate security incidents
Detect or prevent fraud
Prevent unauthorized access
Investigate Platform misuse
Protect Users
Enforce our Terms and policies
Meet legal and regulatory requirements
Some security records may be retained after Account closure where continued retention is reasonably necessary for these purposes.
FixFlowIQ may maintain secure backup copies of certain information for disaster recovery, system restoration, cybersecurity, and business continuity purposes.
Information deleted from active systems may remain in encrypted or otherwise protected backup systems for a limited period before being permanently removed through our normal backup rotation procedures.
Backup data is protected using safeguards consistent with our security practices and is not ordinarily accessed except for legitimate recovery, security, legal, or continuity purposes.
In certain circumstances, we may retain information for longer than the periods otherwise described in this Privacy Policy if reasonably necessary to:
Comply with legal obligations
Respond to lawful requests
Preserve evidence
Resolve ongoing disputes
Investigate suspected fraud or misconduct
Address warranty-related claims or complaints
Enforce our legal or contractual rights
Defend or pursue legal claims
Protect the safety, rights, or security of Users, FixFlowIQ, or the Platform
When a legal, regulatory, contractual, security, or operational need for extended retention no longer exists, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of the information in accordance with our internal retention practices and Applicable Laws.
FixFlowIQ may consider the following factors when determining how long particular information should be retained:
The nature and sensitivity of the information
The purpose for which the information was collected
Whether an Account remains active
Whether a transaction or Booking remains relevant
The duration of an applicable Provider Warranty
Whether a complaint, claim, investigation, or dispute is pending
Applicable statutes of limitation
Tax, accounting, regulatory, or recordkeeping requirements
Fraud prevention and security needs
Whether the information can be anonymized or de-identified instead of deleted
We do not retain Personal Information indefinitely solely because it may be useful in the future.
When Personal Information is no longer reasonably required, FixFlowIQ takes reasonable steps to securely delete, anonymize, de-identify, or destroy the information in a manner designed to prevent unauthorized access, recovery, or misuse, consistent with Applicable Laws and our internal data management practices.
FixFlowIQ is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process Personal Information from children under the age of 18.
If you are under the age of 18, you should not create an account, submit Personal Information, or use the Platform without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by applicable law.
If FixFlowIQ becomes aware that Personal Information has been collected from a child in violation of this Privacy Policy or applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise remove such information from our active systems as soon as reasonably practicable, unless we are legally required to retain it.
If you believe that a child has provided Personal Information to FixFlowIQ, please contact us using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy so that we can investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
Parents and legal guardians who believe their child’s information has been submitted to FixFlowIQ may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of that information, subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification.
FixFlowIQ does not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of children for advertising or marketing purposes.
