FixFlowIQ was founded in 2026 in North Carolina after recognizing how frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive it can be for vehicle owners to find trustworthy automotive services, compare pricing, and receive fast, reliable assistance.
Like many vehicle owners, we saw firsthand the challenges customers face when trying to determine who they can trust, whether they are receiving fair recommendations, and how to confidently compare their options without spending hours researching repair shops and calling multiple businesses.
But the inspiration behind FixFlowIQ goes deeper than that.
As diesel/automotive technicians ourselves, we witnessed another side of the industry that many customers never see.
We saw honest, hardworking technicians placed in difficult situations where they were sometimes pressured to recommend unnecessary repairs, upsell services customers didn't need, or participate in practices that did not always put the customer's best interests first.
We also saw talented technicians leave shops — and in some cases leave the automotive industry entirely — not because they lacked passion for their craft, but because they became frustrated with the lack of transparency and integrity they encountered in certain workplaces.
At the same time, we saw many honest shop owners and technicians doing exceptional work, treating customers fairly, and genuinely caring about the people they served. Unfortunately, these businesses were often forced to compete in a marketplace where trust was difficult to earn and even harder to communicate.
